I grew up in Twickenham on the borders of south-west London, a stone’s throw from the famous rugby stadium.
Apart from a spell away at university, and a couple of years in Germany, I’ve always lived in some part or another of London – for the last thirty odd years in Nunhead, adjacent to Peckham.
After university I worked in publishing, trade journalism and PR, before deciding to make photography my full-time occupation.
Photographers like to wax eloquent about creative vision, passion, artistic integrity etc but for me taking pictures was always, and still is, essentially fun, and I hope that shows in the photos on this site. That doesn’t mean I take the job lightly, rather that I love taking pictures of people enjoying themselves at work and at play. If you hire me, what I can promise is a total commitment, first properly to understand your needs, and then to deliver a collection of pictures which will at the very least meet, and at best exceed, your expectations. Please have a skim round the galleries on my site and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have a project coming up and would like a quote.
When I’m not working I enjoy walking my lab/collie cross on Peckham Rye Common, where William Blake had his vision of angels, pretending to be Ben Ainslie on a pond in South Norwood or chilling out at our house in Southern Spain.
