I grew up in Twickenham on the borders of south-west London, a stone’s throw from the famous rugby stadium.
Apart from a spell away at university, and a couple of years in Germany, I’ve always lived in some part or another of London and am now in Nunhead, adjacent to Peckham, (which is the new Montmartre apparently)
After university I worked in publishing, trade journalism and PR, before deciding to make photography my full-time occupation.
Photographers like to wax eloquent about creative vision, passion, artistic integrity etc but for me taking pictures was always, and still is, essentially fun, and I hope that shows in the photos on this site. That doesn’t mean I take the job lightly, rather that I love taking pictures of people at work and at play with the emphasis on enjoyment. If you hire me, what I can promise is a total commitment, first properly to understand your needs, and then to deliver a job which will at the very least meet, and at best exceed your expectations. Please have a skim round the galleries on my site and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have a project coming up and would like a quote.
When I’m not working I enjoy walking our Rottweiler/German Shepherd on Peckham Rye Common, where William Blake had his vision of angels, pretending to be Ben Ainslie on a pond in South Norwood or chilling out at our house in Southern Spain
